PrEPárate: Empowering Latine Communities Through Culturally Tailored PrEP Promotion
Overview
PrEPárate is the flagship, ongoing program of the Chicago Queer Latine Collaborative (CQLC), born out of a critical need to address the disproportionate impact of HIV on Latine communities. Through culturally tailored social marketing, we empower individuals to access and embrace PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), breaking down systemic barriers to equitable healthcare and promoting a deeper sense of community resilience.
Key Elements
Community Engagement: Crowdsourcing campaign branding, featuring PrEPárate Ambassadors.
Cultural Relevance: Vibrant visuals, bilingual content, and relatable messaging.
Multi-Platform Outreach: Social media, website, in-person outreach at bars, clubs, and community centers.
